With Arduino workshops that have been held over the past four weeks, SPARK school successfully completed the first phase of the Arduino most project supported by the U.S. Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Eighty high school students from eight Mostar secondary schools regularly attended SPARK workshops. Throughout the workshops, they had the opportunity to get acquainted with this open source platform that, thanks to the ease of use, provides users with a positive experience. Because of its features, Arduino is used in several thousand different projects. It is perfect for beginners and flexible enough for advanced users. Fun fact - designers chose the name Arduino by the name of the cafe where they met when they created the project. Today we found out the names of team members who will create cool projects in the next stage of the project using Arduino. In the SPARK premises, all project participants were gathered and the students participated in the interactive quiz. Those who achieved the best quiz results have become team leaders. Later on, the team leaders randomly picked other team members. Informatics teachers also attended the event as a support to students, as they’ll play the role of mentor in project development. Students will have the chance to show their finished projects at the fair that will be held on 13 April 2019 in SPARK premises. The fair will mark the end of the project. --
