Demo & MVP Day at SPARK

First Demo Day was held yesterday at SPARK - it is the most important moment of the six-month program when our startups present their finished products for the first time to potential investors and the expert jury. This was followed by the second MVP Day - the second generation of startups showed results of their three-month work. Ten SPARK startups pitched for more than thirty investors, partners and the three-member jury (Darko Krezić - SPARK, Mario Krišto - NSoft, and Nevzet Sefo - REDAH). All of them wanted to present their product in the best possible way and to win investors. Results? The absolute Demo Day winner is the startup Sophico with web and mobile app that will allow organizing club activities for sports clubs. They won 10,000 KM worth investment, that will be used for the establishment of the company and further development. They will stay at SPARK premises for a while - in this way the transition period will be much easier, and also they can help the next startup generations. The second place went to the team CoffeeTime, which created a social app that allows end-users to easily and quickly arrange meetings with friends. They are currently entering the market, so SPARK will help them with a budget for digital marketing. The youngest startup team at SPARK - Amplius managed to give special powers to their smart keychain Rubico. It will make everyday life for customers much easier.The prototype is ready and everything functions just fine, but now it is time for production. In order to gather the necessary finance for the start of production, Amplius team decided to launch a crowdfunding campaign. Of course, SPARK is here for the advice and campaign promotion. At the end, we would like to single out the startup named NHome, which already grown into a company - from the development to market stage. Due to the excellent results in the development and presentation at the Demo Day, the company has received an investment of 50.000KM in the form of recapitalization. We believe that you will soon turn your house into a smart one using NHome products. The second generation of startup passed their MVP Day with flying colors, which means that all the startups created their minimum viable product. Therefore, they deserved the continuation of the startup program for another three months. The startup named Raftmania made a great presentation and won 4.000 KM worth investment.
