Through our programs and events, we always strive to provide students with new knowledge, as well as experiences that are indispensable for every career. In addition to completing their biography with new knowledge and experience from SPARK school and startup programs, we also provide professional training in form of internships for young people.
This is the last year's statistics we are proud of:
- 28 internships
- 22 interns in the field of information technology, 3 in the field of marketing, 3 in the legal field
- 19 male interns, 9 female interns
- BH faculties: Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Computing and Electrical Engineering of the University of Mostar, Faculty of Information Technology of the Džemal Bijedić University in Mostar, Business Informatics of the Dzemal Bijedic University in Mostar, CKM, International University in Sarajevo, Faculty of Law of the University of Mostar
- Other faculties: Colby College, Maine - USA, VIA University College, Horsens - Denmark, Yildiz Technical University, Istanbul - Turkey, Rochester Institute of Technology Croatia (RIT), Faculty of Organization and Informatics in Varaždin.
What do students say about their internships? Josip Drinovac, a third-year student of Software Engineering in Horsens, Denmark, is about to finish his 5-month practice at SPARK: “I develop mobile and desktop games. I see SPARK as a bright spot in our town where young people can developer themselves and their ideas through SPARK school, SPARK accelerator or internships. During my internship, I joined the Imicron startup so I can tell that it was worth it. The team always likes to fool around so the working environment is always positive, which is a great plus.”
In 2019 we expect the number of our interns to be at least doubled, as practice is the first step towards a successful career.
