Scroll down for photos of the most popular gadgets, workshops, competitions, and talks and try to spot yourself in the pics. Those who couldn’t make it to SPARK on Saturday (14 September) missed a lot of fun entertainment and educational activities.   GADGET SHOW Let’s recap. For a day, SPARK turned into a high-tech facility full of attractive state-of-the-art gadgets not seen so far. Visitors could try out electric vehicles, smart devices, drones, robots, and gaming consoles. Besides the standard consoles of every FYS event like the HTC Vive, XBox, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, visitors showed off their dancing skills on the Just Dance game. Although we were in Mostar, with the help of VR we could see the beauty of Herzegovina, such as the Kravice waterfall, Peć Mlini and Blidinje. SYNC took care of the smart devices and drone categories this year: Google devices and apps, Amazon smart devices, Fibaro, DoorBird, Philips Hue, Nest smart home devices, and all the latest DJI drones. Children enjoyed educational robots like Abilix, mBot, STEMI, Ollie, Alpha, Nao, Lego, and others. Special attention was paid to the robotic dog Aibo. The electric vehicles category was the greatest boom this year - we had four Tesla cars, three Toyota hybrids, two Greyp G6 bikes, two INMotion scooter, Segway electric vehicles, Xplorer hoverboard, FSR Racing bolide car and solar powered bolid made by highschool students from Posušje.    BRAIN GYM & TECH CHALLENGES Three interactive workshops were held: Robotics with mBots (Luka Vučina), Business Models for Startups (Alema Pelesić) and How to Start a Robot Manufacturing Company (Marin Trošelj). After completed workshops, participants had the opportunity to compete in two competitions - the first one was in robotics (10 most successful participants in the interactive qualification quiz had the task to cross the track with obstacles using mBot), and the second one in startup business plan (the task was to create the best business plan for a startup). Participants fiercely competed against each other, and the best of the best are:   # the winner of Makeblock Codey Rocky and robotics competition is Ivor Mesić from Bugojno. # the winner of a laptop and best business model competition is Leo Mikulić from Mostar. We also had two giveaways for visitors. Filip Sabljić won DJI Osmo Mobile Silver for the best photo with the hashtag #FindYourSPARK, while Milenko Vidačak was randomly picked from the box and won the JBL Tuner BT speaker. Our sponsor Mekline decided to reward our visitors, so 10 lucky visitors went home with JBL Go speakers.   FUN ZONE The Fun Zone was the central part of the event where we hosted the big influencer community names from our region. Our speakers shared their stories, creativity and educational content with the visitors, but also addressed the burning topics at the forefront of public consciousness such as sustainable digital community building, creating podcasts, following the latest gadget trends, and robotics as a way of fun education for children. Our guests were Marko Petrak (Podcast Inkubator), guys from Balkan Gadgets (Bajtbox) and Ladislav Jurić (Baggizmo).   FYS PARTNERS AND SPONSORS The numbers are here - more than 1000 people visited us, and the event was managed with the tremendous help of over 40 volunteers and 20 organizers. This wouldn't be possible without sponsors and partners - NSoft, SYNC, Rolograf, Toyota, Nuić, Mekline, Vitinka, Ožujsko, Nameks, Alba, and Eurosan.   FYS2019 IN PICTURES Vibrant, colorful and inspiring: the FYS2019 organizers, volunteers, and visitors shone as bright as the summer sun.
